Rhonda’s short fiction and creative nonfiction has been published in the Journal of Florida Literature (Indigo Hix) and the Great Smokies Review (Spring 2026). She has also been chosen as a semifinalist for the 2020 and 2024 Doris Betts Fiction Prize, the 2021 Slamdance Screenplay Competition, and the 2022 Thomas Wolfe Fiction Prize.
